Responsibilities of the Travel Clinic Registered Nurse (RN)
Provide immediate medical care and emotional support to patients who are suffering from an injury or illness
Help assist patients in their recovery process to regain their health.
Educate patients about the injury or illness they received
Help patients with treatment plans
Provide patients with answers to any questions they may have.
Record their patient’s progress, deliver and administer medicine
Collaborate with doctors and RN’s to optimize patient care.

Responsibilities of the Travel Optometrist
Act as an intermediary between patient, Service Unit personnel and program personnel representing the program in interactions with field personnel.
Responsible for maintaining an inventory and calibration schedule for all audiologic equipment.
Monitors and evaluates all aspects of audiologic portions of the Program in terms of unit cost, quality and compliance with established professional audiologic concepts, principles, and practices.
Develop an annual budget for the provision of audiologic services at the Fort Peck service Unit.
